DC Investment Fund is a multi-strategy fund regulated in the Bahamas and fully licenced by the Bahamas Securities Commission.
DCIFs manager, DC Asset Management, equally fully lincenced by the Bahamian authorities as a fund manager, identifies unique investment opportunities in all markets. These investment can be marketable or non-marketable, depending on a thorough risk-reward analysis. By non-marketable instruments we are dealing in private placements or loan agreements.
Investment Strategy
In its first operative investment, DCIF is offering to its investors to participate in bridge-loans to a prime real estate developer in Panama that is currently building close to 4000 homes under a Government approved affordable housing program.
Total sales value of the current projects is in the vicinity of USD 2500 million. with currently USD 45 million in homes sold and secured by irrevocable state bank guarantee that DCIF will hold as collateral. Close contact with company management and regular reporting assure up-to-date information and hence the necessary diligence.
DCIF may invest additional liquidity in different asset classes as opportunities arise and market events may offer.
Investment Goal
Predicted return after all cost, holding the investment for 12 months, should be in the high single digits. We aim to deliver a consistent, solid performance with low risk as investment is collateralized and that offers extremely little correlation to financial markets.
